Agora partnered with Design Workshop to create a Master Plan for the development of the former Glendale Water Park; a 17-acre site, to guild capital improvements, site programming, operations and maintenance recommendations. Agora was dedicated to leveraging placemaking techniques to create emotional and social connections between people and physical spaces, and help Salt Lake City continue its ongoing economic development and provide tangible benefits to people living near the new Glendale Regional Park. The programming for Glendale Regional Park combines amenities, scheduled programs, and special events to create a dynamic destination that changes by time of day, day of week and season of the year. Agora’s approach to programming was to curate and coordinate a wide variety of activities by partnering with local nonprofits, small businesses, civic groups, school-affiliated organizations, and other institutions who are firmly rooted in Glendale and other nearby neighborhoods.
