Agora Partners worked with Design Workshop to create a master plan for the redevelopment of the former Glendale Water Park, a 17-acre site in Salt Lake City. The plan guides capital improvements, site programming, operations, and maintenance recommendations, with a focus on placemaking strategies that foster emotional and social connections between people and place.

Agora’s work supports Salt Lake City’s goals for economic development while delivering tangible benefits to residents living near the new Glendale Regional Park. The programming strategy combines amenities, scheduled programs, and special events to create a dynamic destination that evolves throughout the day, week, and year. Agora curated a diverse range of activities by partnering with local nonprofits, small businesses, civic groups, school-affiliated organizations, and other institutions rooted in Glendale and surrounding neighborhoods. The resulting project creates a vibrant, inclusive community space that drives economic growth and strengthens neighborhood identity.
