Lafayette Downtown Development Authority

The Lafayette Downtown Development Authority hired Agora Partners to assess the network of downtown parks and plazas in Lafayette, Louisiana and create a plan to leverage them for economic development. Agora helped the DDA analyze the implications of purchasing or leasing the public spaces from the City and Parish governments. Agora created market-driven short and long-term programming, management, revenue, and capital improvement strategies in order to assess the potential financial benefits and costs associated with developing the public realm. Agora also recommended terms for intergovernmental agreements to realize the DDA’s vision.
